About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Spencer Odai, the developer of Screenshot OS (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your data.
Who can use Screenshot OS
You must be at least 13 years old to use Screenshot OS.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and let us know at hello@screenshotos.net if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
Your content
Your screenshots and everything you add to them stay yours. You give us permission only to store, process and show them to you, including sending a screenshot for AI analysis when you ask for it, so that the app can work. Only save screenshots you have the right to keep.
Using it well
Please don’t use Screenshot OS to store or share anything unlawful, try to access other people’s data, disrupt or overload the service, or copy or take apart the app except where the law allows.
AI suggestions
Screenshot OS can suggest what to do with a screenshot. Suggestions can be wrong or incomplete, so check the details, such as dates, prices and places, before you act on them. You decide what happens next.
The service
We’re working hard on Screenshot OS, and features may change, be added or be removed. We may pause or stop the service; if we stop it, we’ll try to give you notice so you can take what you need. The app is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of errors.
Plus subscriptions
Screenshot OS is free to use within these limits: 10 AI analyses a month, 100 saved screenshots and 5 collections. Screenshot OS Plus is an optional subscription that raises them to 300 AI analyses a month (fair use) and unlimited saves and collections.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is taken by Apple or Google through your store account.
- Where offered, the 7-day free trial turns into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Plus renews automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; you keep Plus until that period ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
- If Plus ends, nothing you’ve saved is deleted. You just can’t add more than the Free limits allow until you’re under them again or subscribe again.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for losses that come from using or not being able to use Screenshot OS, including relying on AI suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your rights as a consumer.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: You → Manage account → Delete account. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel Plus; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above, and if a change is significant we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
